focus Friday “key element”

Your focus influences your emotions.

Your emotions influence your behavior.

Your behavior determines your results.

Your results determine your outcomes.

Your outcomes determine your destiny.

You can control your destiny by controlling your focus.

I read this on a Facebook post from John Assarf and I think it hits the nail on the head. There are many elements to success, I think this is one of the key elements. In this technology age with so much information and so many distractions, focus is key.

There are many ways we can build our focus muscle. Like everything, it takes time, determination, discipline, and will power. It all comes down to how much you want it. How bad do you want to succeed? How committed are you to make your dreams come true? How far are you willing to go and how much are you willing to do to get to where you want to be?

Many people want to make their dreams become a reality, the truth is that without a game plan or a time table of when you want to achieve it, your dream are just that… a dream. When we learn this truth, it may be eye opening. The question now is, where do we go from here? This is when our ability to focus comes in.

There are some exercises we can do to build our focus muscle. Having a morning routine as the foundation of each day is a must. Here are some things we can do every day to help improve our focus:

Meditate | Exercise | Visualize | (If you believe in a higher power) Pray | Read | Be Prepared | Reflect | Anticipate | Prioritize | To Do Lists | Time Management | Be organized | Avoid distractions (as social media or emails) | Prioritize |

and above all keep yourself motivated!

Now, you might think this is a lot to do every single day… my question for you is HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?

Let’s ignore excuses and start our focus routine every day, who knows, you might be able to make your dream come true!
